Bio :
A collection of 100 poems, published by the Editions de L’Ocean Indien in the year 2019 and sponsored by the National Arts Fund, all dedicated to my muse, the inspirational power which drives my words. Most of the poems bear a strong spiritual imprint while the others have been written for international poetry contests, some of which have been placed among the winners while some others have not. Poetry is the manifestation of strong emotions and Mirrors of My Heart is the product of everyday writing. After all, what would the human being be without moods and emotions, if not a robot? The higher powers have deemed it well to construct us with these and we are to value these. We are to adjust, to adapt, to go with their flow even if that requires us to sit and laugh for a while or to sit and cry at other times. Writing is a mystical activity and as a poet, I give myself to it with lots of indulgence.
